WSRA's strong history from 1955 to today includes thousands of volunteers who have made it possible for our organization to offer leadership, advocacy and professional learning opportunities over the course of these 65 fabulous years. We appreciate you... WSRA members, WSRA Past Presidents, WSRA Board of Directors, WSRA Leadership Group members, WSRA Committees, WSRA Local Reading Councils, and the WSRA 2021 Conference Planning members. Here is to another 65 years of providing leadership, advocacy, and expertise.  

Volunteer Opportunities: Check-In, Introduce Presenters, Support at the Young Voices Festival

  • Reading Council members can earn $10 per hour for their council by volunteering to introduce and serve as chat/Q&A moderators. 
  • Retirees who volunteer four hours at the conference can attend Academy Month of the conference at no cost. This takes a discount code obtained from WSRA prior to registering for the conference.
